Job summary

The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a part-time Masters-level Therapist/Clinician to provide therapeutic services, including groups therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning, at our Greenville, SC program.

You will facilitate therapy groups, complete psychosocial assessments, maintain documentation, communicate with families, and assist in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, mental health counseling or a similar educational degree required. Licensure preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a psychiatric health care facility with family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate therapy groups
• Completes psychosocial assessments
• Maintains patient, program, department and related documentation
• Effectively communicates with patient family or patient social support
• Effective discharge planning skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Participates in treatment care planning and helps implement treatment care plan
• Substantial knowledge of therapeutic skills and can intervene with behavioral health patients
• Participate in restraint and seclusion of patients when required
• Supports hospital service excellence standards
• Completes annual and other training in a timely manner
