Job summary

Interim HealthCare of the Twin Cities is seeking a Hospice Massage Therapist to visit patients in their homes across the South Metro and Twin Cities area. You will provide comfort touch massage under physician orders and the IDG plan of care, with travel required within Interim’s service area.

Full-time hours are Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, HSA contributions, PTO, CEU reimbursement, mileage, and a scrubs allowance.

Qualifications

• One year of Massage Therapy experience required.
• Successful completion of post secondary course of study from an accredited/licensed school for Massage Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluation, assessing and identifying patient’s needs.
• Provide comfort touch massage therapy services to patients in accordance with physician’s orders and the interdisciplinary group plan of care with a hospice focus.
• Complete and submit accurate and timely documentation of massage therapy services provided.

Job description

As a Hospice Massage Therapist, you will have a meaningful role and make a difference in the lives of our patients to help find comfort when it's needed most. Travel within Interim HealthCare's service area to visit patients one on one in their home environment and provide comfort touch massages.

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Range: $25.74 - $30.69

Territory: Our office is based in Roseville, MN and our service area covers the 11 County Twin Cities Metro area. The territory for this position will be primarily in the South Metro. We are looking for someone who is willing to travel throughout Interim's service area based on the client’s needs.

Some functions of what you would do as a Hospice Massage Therapist:

• Conduct initial evaluation, assessing & identifying patient’s needs.
• Provide comfort touch massage therapy services to patients in accordance with physician’s orders and the interdisciplinary group (IDG) plan of care with a focus on a hospice and palliative care approach.
• Complete and submit accurate and timely documentation of massage therapy services provided.

A few must-haves for this position:

• Successful completion of post secondary course of study from an accredited/licensed school for Massage Therapy.
• One year of Massage Therapy experience required.
• Hospice massage therapy experience preferred.
• Able to travel within a geographic area serviced by the office. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance is required.
