Job summary

Brunswick and Freedom Boat Club invite friendly, upbeat individuals to join the docks team. You will greet members, assist with check-in/check-out, and help keep vessels and the marina clean and safe on a part-time basis.

The role requires outdoor work, weekday/weekend/holiday availability, and the ability to handle physical tasks. A positive attitude and strong customer service are essential for success on the water.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to handle physical tasks and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Read and manipulate handheld tablets.
• Available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge guests per standards.
• Anticipate and address guest service needs.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Answer telephone calls with proper etiquette.
• Check-in/check-out using a handheld tablet.
• Perform equipment checks and ensure vessel readiness.
• Maintain vessels and marina area per standards.
• Prepare reservation fuel logs and weather reports.
• Know local waters to provide basic guidance.
