Job summary

Sussex County Community College is seeking a part-time Program Supervisor for the Manufacturing and Robotics Technology Program. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing technology, engineering technology, mechanical engineering, optics, or related field.
• Three years of relevant industry experience in advanced manufacturing, precision machining, optical manufacturing, or related technical operations.
• Experience coordinating personnel, projects, instructional activities, or laboratory operations.
• Knowledge of technical drawings, precision measurement, quality practices, and safe equipment operation.
• Experience with CNC equipment, CAD/CAM applications, optical fabrication equipment, or comparable technologies.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and collaborative leadership skills.
• Ability to support students with varied educational backgrounds and learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate aspects of the Manufacturing and Robotics Technology programs, including degree and certificate offerings.
• Support revisions to curricula, learning outcomes, and assessment practices.
• Assist with program reviews and data collection on enrollment, retention, completion, and employment.
• Provide guidance to adjunct faculty on program expectations and lab procedures.
• Oversee laboratory readiness, equipment maintenance, and Makerspace operations.
• Collaborate with the Dean on staffing and scheduling for classes and labs.
• Engage with industry partners to gather feedback on workforce needs and program relevance.
