Job summary

Prince William County's Department of Parks & Recreation is seeking a part-time Manager-on-Duty to support youth and adult indoor recreational games and practices. The role involves opening and setting up facilities, supervising activities, and ensuring security and cleanliness after use.

Hours run 6-10 PM on weekdays and 8 AM-10 PM on weekends, with two weekend shifts. Applicants must be current employees of PWCPS and obtain keys from the principal or designee.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education, Training And Experience Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. and 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise part-time staff; provide staff training on park rules and expectations.
• Open and set up facility for league and community use; ensure safety and security during use.
• Prepare and maintain schedules and records; communicate changes to participants.
• Respond to emergencies and provide basic care as required.
