Job summary

Medstar Lafayette Centre in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Mammographer for a part-time position, 2 to 3 days per week (Mon/Fri) from 8am to 4:30pm.

Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, you will perform breast imaging procedures, ensure safety per MQSA guidelines, and contribute to ongoing quality assurance and patient education. The role requires up to 3 years of mammography experience and ARRT Radiography certification with Mammo credentials.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• Must have an Associates Degree in Radiology or completion of a 2-year radiology program.
• ARRT registration in Radiography; Mammo advanced registration required on hire for IDTF centers.

Responsibilities

• Performs breast imaging procedures and related techniques.
• Ensures safety per MQSA regulations and ALARA principles.
• Provides patient education and participates in quality assurance activities.
• Maintains proper documentation and imaging records.
