Job summary

Medstar Lafayette Centre in Washington, DC, seeks an experienced Mammography technologist for a part-time role. The position is 2 to 3 days per week (Mon/Fri) from 8am to 4:30pm, at our outpatient imaging center.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of Mammography Technologist experience.
• Associate degree in Radiology or equivalent two-year program.
• ARRT registered in Radiography; Mammo ARRT advanced registry required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast imaging procedures per established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comply with ALARA principles.
• Document orders and patient information in medical records.
• Provide education to patients and trainees as needed.
• Maintain image quality and proper identification of studies.
• Support performance improvement activities and center operations.
