Job summary

MedStar Lafayette Centre in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Mammographer for a part-time role at our outpatient imaging center. The position offers a 3-day workweek (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, focused on delivering high-quality breast imaging and patient care in a supportive team environment.

The ideal candidate will perform breast imaging procedures, ensure ALARA principles, maintain accurate documentation, and comply with MQSA regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT Registration in Radiography and maintain current registration.
• Mammo advanced registration through ARRT required on hire for IDTF centers; first 12 months for non-IDTF.
• State licensure required in practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast imaging procedures and related techniques per licensed practitioner instructions.
• Adhere to MQSA regulations and ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Document orders and patient data accurately in medical records.
