Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center is seeking a part-time Mammography Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care. You will join a collaborative clinical team in Georgia, balancing clinical work with life outside the hospital, on a flexible schedule.

The role requires ARRT credentials (Radiography and Mammography) and at least 1 year of radiologic and mammography experience, with BLS. Expect professional growth and access to Wellstar CareerCare programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completed accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience.
• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience in a hospital.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-M certifications, plus BLS.

Responsabilités

• Perform mammography exams per physician order and protocol.
• Confirm patient identity using two identifiers.
• Explain exam using AIDET and gather relevant history.
• Protect patient privacy and comfort during positioning and transfers.
• Review images for quality and completeness; maintain first-time acceptance rate.
• Operate imaging equipment safely; optimize dose and technique.
• Document QC tests per protocols and ensure DICOM labeling.
• Maintain PACS/RIS documentation and daily charge capture.
• Keep the mammography suite clean; apply shielding as needed.
• Provide clear pre- and post-exam instructions and train staff.
