Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a part-time role. You will perform mammography exams, ensure image quality, and support patients with clear instructions and compassionate care.

The position requires ARRT-R and ARRT-M certifications, a radiologic technology program, and BLS certification. We value teamwork in a fast-paced radiology department and offer flexible scheduling to balance clinical responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-M (Mammography) certifications, BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams per physician order and protocol.
• Explain the exam clearly to reduce patient anxiety using AIDET principles.
• Review images for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper labeling in PACS/RIS.
