Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a part-time role in Georgia. The successful candidate will perform mammography exams, ensure patient safety, and support a fast-paced imaging team.

Required are ARRT certifications (R and M), BLS, and a radiologic technology program completion. Prior mammography experience is preferred; responsibilities include image QC and PACS/RIS documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist; at least 1 year mammography experience in a hospital.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-M certifications; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams per physician order and protocol with two identifiers.
• Explain the exam and reduce patient anxiety using AIDET.
• Maintain patient privacy and safely assist with transfers as needed.
