Job summary

Fairfax Breast Center in Fairfax, VA is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a full-time role with a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM; possible 10-hour shifts 9:15 AM–5:45 PM). No weekends, evenings, holidays, or call.

You will perform screening and diagnostic mammography, position patients for high-quality images, and ensure standards meet radiologist expectations. You will work with experienced radiologists and technologists to deliver compassionate, precise imaging and patient

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification is required.
• Virginia Radiologic Technologist license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams.
• Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality images.
• Ensure imaging meets radiologist diagnostic standards.
• Provide clear communication and reassurance during exams.
• Follow imaging protocols and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologist teammates.
