Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Part Time Male Specimen Collector in Sequim, WA. Schedule: Part-Time, Mon Tue Thu Fri 12:30 PM–4:30 PM. The role collects urine/oral fluid specimens, processes shipments, and serves as a liaison between clinics and the lab.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in medical support, with strong customer service and basic tech skills. Requires driver’s license and high school diploma; some travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collector experience or 1+ year in medical field preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service can substitute for medical experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with smartphones and computers required.
• HIPAA, HiTrust and confidentiality/compliance awareness required.
• Physical requirements include sitting 60%, walking 20%, standing 20%, lifting up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and lab information.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens when applicable.
• Travel driving between facilities may be required.
