The Hershey Company seeks a part-time Maintenance Trades Technician to join our Hershey, PA facilities team. You will assist in routine maintenance tasks, support skilled tradespeople, and help keep equipment and spaces safe and clean for daily operations.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills (MS Word/Excel/Outlook) and about one year of maintenance experience; electrical, plumbing, and HVAC basics are a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• One year’s maintenance experience; on-the-job training may be provided.

Responsabilités

• Assist in routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
• Inspect facilities and equipment regularly for issues.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized maintenance areas and store tools properly.
• Report ongoing tasks and issues to the maintenance supervisor.

Hourly Pay Rate: $23.00/hour or more based on experience

Minimum Age: 18 years of age or older

Availability: requires availability to work weekends & holidays 1st and 2nd shifts.

This is a part-time hourly position located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The company will not provide relocation assistance.

Hershey’s Chocolate World is seeking a Maintenance Trades Technician to join our Maintenance team. This position will assist in the upkeep and repair of facilities, performing routine maintenance tasks and supporting skilled tradespeople to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

KeyResponsibilities:

• AssistinMaintenanceTasks :Helpwithroutinepreventivemaintenance,minor repairs,andinstallationsofequipment, paintandlight fixtures.
• ConductInspections :Performregularinspectionsoffacilitiesandequipmentto identifyissuesandensureeverythingisfunctioningproperly.
• RespondtoRequests :Addressemergencymaintenancerequestsandcomplete workordersinatimelymanner. Collaborate with staff and upper management to resolve maintenance issues
• MaintainCleanliness :Keepmaintenanceareasorganizedandclean,ensuringtools and equipmentareproperlystored.
• ReportIssues :Communicateongoingtasksandpotentialissuestothe maintenancesupervisorregularly.

RequiredSkillsandQualifications:

• Education: Ahighschooldiplomaorequivalent.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge in the use of Microsoft programs (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Experience: one year’s experience in a maintenance field. some on-the-jobtrainingmaybeprovided.
• TechnicalSkills: Basicunderstandingofelectrical,plumbing,andHVACsystems a plus,with familiaritywithhandandpowertools.
• Working knowledge in related trades to building maintenance and repair
• Ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Able to work at heights, ladders, single, and double-man lifts.
• Strongattentiontodetailandtheabilitytotroubleshootissueseffectively.
• Maintenancesetting,incommercial/industrialfacilitie.Therolemayinvolvebothindoor andoutdoortasks,requiringadaptabilitytodifferentenvironmentsandconditions.
