Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Worker for a 55+ manufactured home community in Federal Way, WA. The role is year round, part-time (about 20 hours/week), with varying shifts during summer pool season and requires hands-on maintenance, some technical tasks, and safety compliance.

You’ll perform pool/spa testing, basic repairs, and coordinate with management on vendor tasks. A valid driver’s license and willingness to be on call are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Pool/spa knowledge or willingness to learn and obtain CPO.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and current auto insurance.
• Willingness to be on call for after-hours emergencies and assist with co-worker time off.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and appealing property in coordination with management.
• Attend daily staff meetings to report vendor appointments and required work.
• Communicate professionally with management and staff on maintenance projects.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; clean restrooms and main areas as needed.
• Follow safety policies and use required PPE.
• Weed and edge common areas as needed.
• Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs as needed.
• Move heavy objects and operate maintenance truck or golf cart on-site.
• Monitor inventory and keep a clean shop.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
