Job summary

Cascade Management, Inc. in Prineville, OR is looking for a Maintenance Technician I to support the maintenance team. The role involves minor plumbing, janitorial tasks, and other routine upkeep to keep buildings in good repair, with a focus on safety and timely work.

This part-time position offers a 20-hour workweek, Monday to Friday 9am-1pm, with pay between $17.00 and $22.00 per hour plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, disability and life insurance, EAP, and more.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and insurance is required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to draft routine reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance team with minor plumbing, janitorial and related tasks.
• Ensure repairs are completed in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Clean and turnover vacant apartments to rent-ready condition.
• Assist in move-out inspections and safety checks.
• Update maintenance logs daily and process work orders.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance inspections.
