CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Part-Time) in Plymouth, MI. The role involves general maintenance across apartment communities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and painting.

You will work with different staff and departments, including weekends and holidays, outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong reading and documentation skills are required, plus a friendly, service-oriented attitude toward residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; or related experience.
• Proficient in apartment maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural and appliance repair.
• Drywall repair and painting experience is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondences.

Responsabilités

• Operates various tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain effective working relationships with team members.
• Identify and report broken equipment or uncertain conditions to supervisor.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and safe per regulations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and building/grounds as required.
• Maintain a positive customer service attitude with staff and residents.
