Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair duties. The role requires working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, outdoors in different weather conditions, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or equivalent, and experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related repairs. Possess good reading/writing skills for safety rules and reports, and deliver strong customer service to residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or related training/experience.
• Proficient in apartment maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical; drywall repairs and painting.
• Ability to read safety rules and write routine reports.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions; handle standard problems.
• You love to laugh and have fun while working hard to provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Operates tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Establishes effective working relationships with team members.
• Identifies and reports broken equipment or uncertain conditions to supervisor.
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, safe condition per safety regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and building/grounds.
• Maintains a positive customer service attitude with staff and residents.
