Job summary

Woodland Recovery Center is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician in Southaven, MS. The role involves performing routine building maintenance across carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and related systems, including low voltage wiring and safety compliance.

You will support on-call needs and coordinate with vendors as needed. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and interpret written information.
• Flexibility with schedule, including on-call, nights and weekends.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall).
• Install and troubleshoot low voltage wiring and access control equipment.
• Respond to and close out work orders; maintain maintenance schedule.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for repairs outside scope of routine tasks.
• Perform general repairs and landscaping; maintain lawns.
• Ensure safety and brand standards are upheld.
