Job summary

Morningstar Properties is seeking a part-time Maintenance Associate to keep our properties well-maintained and welcoming in a fast-paced environment. You will handle routine tasks across grounds, unit spaces, and common areas, and perform preventive maintenance on building systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, independent work, and a positive team attitude; a valid driver’s license and basic tools familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• Past maintenance and/or janitorial experience required.
• Handy with tools and basic mechanical knowledge.
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and team members.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and minor roofing repairs.
• Complete maintenance checklists daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Operate company truck for routine tasks and upkeep.
• Communicate with Property Manager and teammates about status or delays.
• Support a respectful, cooperative work environment.
