Job summary

Monarch Management Group, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our property management team, supporting daily upkeep, safety, and appearance of apartment communities.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of experience in apartment maintenance, with basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting and general repairs; on-call availability is required. This role reports to the Regional Maintenance Manager and includes on-call rotation for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in apartment community maintenance or a related field.
• Basic working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting and general repair tasks.
• On-call availability for emergency maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests and work orders promptly, professionally, and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot routine maintenance issues and complete effective repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs for apartment buildings, individual units, and common areas.
• Support safe and reliable building operations through regular inspection, upkeep, and maintenance of property systems.
• Assist with landscaping, lawn care, groundskeeping, sidewalk snow removal, and salting as needed.
• Stock, organize, order, and maintain maintenance supplies to help ensure efficient daily operations.
• Communicate clearly with the Regional Maintenance Manager regarding major repairs, supply needs, property concerns, or service discrepancies.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide emergency or unscheduled repairs when needed.

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the daily upkeep, safety, and appearance of our apartment communities.

Position Summary

This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates clearly, and responds promptly to resident and property needs. The Maintenance Technician will complete service requests, perform preventative maintenance, assist with grounds care, and make repairs to apartment buildings and individual units.
