Job summary

Monarch Management Group in Pittston, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep apartment communities well maintained, safe, and attractive. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and respond to work orders to ensure resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of maintenance experience with knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall repair, and painting, plus the ability to work independently and be on‑call for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in residential settings.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall repair, and painting.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Dependable, organized, and committed to providing high-quality workmanship.
• Availability for on-call emergency maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on apartment buildings and residential units.
• Diagnose and repair basic electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting issues.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance work orders.
• Ensure apartments, common areas, and property grounds remain safe, functional, and attractive.
• Maintain, organize, and inventory maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Assist with landscaping, lawn care, and general groundskeeping.
• Perform snow removal and sidewalk salting during winter weather.
• Communicate maintenance concerns, major repairs, and purchasing needs to the Regional Maintenance Manager.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to address emergency maintenance situations.
