Job summary

Paramark Corp is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Part-Time Maintenance Technician in Ft. Collins, CO. This position is approximately 20 hours per week at $25 per hour.

You will oversee daily maintenance operations under the guidance of the Property Manager and Regional Manager, performing routine tasks and coordinating with vendors. Qualified candidates will have experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical.
• Familiar with hand tools and power tools.
• Basic computer skills including email; ability to use Yardi Voyager preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance.
• Ensure all service requests are completed daily.
• Document work performed in electronic work order system.
• Inspect vacated units and prepare make-ready checklists.
• Complete special projects as assigned by Property Manager.
• Coordinate with Property Manager daily and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will oversee daily maintenance operations and ensure the upkeep of the property under the guidance of the Property Manager and Regional Manager. A typical day may consist of such tasks as:

• Diagnosing and performing minor and routine maintenance in a timely fashion
• Ensuring all service requests are completed daily
• Accurately documenting work performed through our electronic work order system
• Inspect vacated units and create make-ready checklists
• Complete special projects as assigned and prioritized by the Property Manager
• Inspect the exterior of the property for needed preventative maintenance or repairs
• Complete or oversee the completion of the preventative maintenance or repairs
• Order parts and supplies and maintain inventory
• Obtain bids and negotiate pricing from outside vendors and contractors
• Perform emergency maintenance (after hours) as needed
• Coordinate with the Property Manager daily
• Perform and report on all work according to the safety standards of the company, OSHA, and health codes
• Keep work areas clean and tidy daily
• Promote positive public relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff through a friendly and courteous attitude.

Requirements

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical, etc.
• Experience with hand tools including tape measure, square, level, hand saw, chisel, cutters, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.
• Experience with power tools, including grinders, drills, various saws, rotary hammers, sanders, routers, planers, nail guns, air compressors, etc.
• Experience with mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, compressors, blowers, etc.
• Experience with measuring devices such as voltmeters, multimeters, ohmmeters, PH tests, etc.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to use email
• Yardi / Voyager experience preferred
• Be organized and efficient.

• Be able to function as a team player
