Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and minor electrical work.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with measuring devices and basic computing tasks.
• Yardi Voyager experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and perform typical maintenance in a timely manner.
• Prepare make-ready and inspect vacated units.
• Document work in electronic work order system.
• Order parts and coordinate with vendors.
• Perform after-hours emergency maintenance as needed.
• Ensure safety standards OSHA compliance and health codes.
• Maintain clean work areas and promote positive relations with residents and staff.

Paramark Corp is looking for a dedicated professional to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO, as a part-time Maintenance Technician working 25 hours a week. This position pays $22.00-$25.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will oversee daily maintenance operations and maintain the property under the guidance of the Property Manager and Regional Manager. A typical day may consist of such tasks as:

• Diagnosing and performing minor and routine maintenance in a timely fashion
• Ensure all service requests are completed daily
• Accurately document work performed through our electronic work order system
• Inspect vacated units and create make-ready checklists
• Complete special projects as assigned and prioritized by the Cooperative Manager
• Inspect the exterior of the property for needed preventative maintenance or repairs
• Complete or oversee the completion of the preventative maintenance or repairs
• Order parts and supplies and maintain inventory
• Obtain bids and negotiate pricing from outside vendors and contractors
• Perform emergency maintenance (after hours) as needed
• Coordinate with the Cooperative Manager daily
• Perform and report on all work according to the safety standards of the company, OSHA, and health codes
• Keep work areas clean and tidy daily
• Promote positive public relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff through a friendly and courteous attitude.

Requirements

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical, etc.
• Experience with hand tools, including tape measure, square, level, hand saw, chisel, cutters, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.
• Experience with power tools, including grinders, drills, various saws, rotary hammers, sanders, routers, planers, nail guns, air compressors, etc.
• Experience with mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, compressors, and blowers.
• Experience with measuring devices such as voltmeters, multimeters, ohmmeters, PH tests, etc.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to use email
• Yardi / Voyager experience preferred
• Be organized and efficient.
• Be accountable and responsible.
• Be able to function as a team player
