Job summary

Paramark Corp in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for a part-time Maintenance Technician to work 25 hours per week. The role pays $22.00-$25.00 per hour and reports to the Property Manager and Regional Manager, with duties spanning preventative maintenance, inspections, and vendor coordination.

You will diagnose routine maintenance, document work orders, order parts, and ensure safety compliance by following OSHA and health codes.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical, etc.
• Experience with hand tools, including tape measure, square, level, hand saw, chisel, cutters, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.
• Experience with power tools, including grinders, drills, various saws, rotary hammers, sanders, routers, planers, nail guns, air compressors, etc.
• Experience with mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, compressors, and blowers.
• Experience with measuring devices such as voltmeters, multimeters, ohmmeters, PH tests, etc.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to use email.
• Be organized and efficient.
• Be accountable and responsible.
• Be able to function as a team player

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and performing minor and routine maintenance in a timely fashion.
• Ensure all service requests are completed daily.
• Accurately document work performed through our electronic work order system.
• Inspect vacated units and create make-ready checklists.
• Complete special projects as assigned and prioritized by the Cooperative Manager.
• Inspect the exterior of the property for needed preventative maintenance or repairs.
• Complete or oversee the completion of the preventative maintenance or repairs.
• Order parts and supplies and maintain inventory.
• Obtain bids and negotiate pricing from outside vendors and contractors.
• Perform emergency maintenance (after hours) as needed.
• Coordinate with the Cooperative Manager daily.
• Perform and report on all work according to the safety standards of the company, OSHA, and health codes.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy daily.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff through a friendly and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities
