Job summary

Pomeroy Living Corporation is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team in Troy, MI. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems, repairs to structures and resident apartments, and assisting with resident room turnover and minor renovations.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of building systems, experience with hand and power tools, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of building systems and applicable codes.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent work ethic and service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
• Repair and maintain building structures, grounds, and resident apartments.
• Assist with resident room turnovers, painting, drywall repairs, and minor renovations.
• Move and assist in transporting furniture and equipment.
• Maintain a safe and well-maintained community environment.
