Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, facilities, or related roles.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and building maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic maintenance issues.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or similar environments is a plus.
• Must be able to safely perform physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing areas.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders promptly.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
• Inspect equipment, fixtures, doors, windows, lighting, and other components.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Maintain resident rooms, common areas, offices, and spaces.
• Identify safety concerns and report to the supervisor.
• Assist with emergency maintenance when needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in an organized and safe manner.
• Assist with seasonal maintenance and facility projects as assigned.
• Follow safety procedures and facility policies.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
