Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician for Rivergreen Apts in Riverview, MI. The role involves hands-on upkeep of an apartment community with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM schedule.

You will handle maintenance work orders, unit turns, basic cleaning, landscaping, and snow removal, working outdoors in varying weather and independently to keep the property safe and attractive.

Qualifications

• Own basic hand and power tools.
• Experience in apartment/property maintenance or related trade.
• Experience with minor electrical repairs.
• Experience with minor plumbing repairs.
• General knowledge of basic building and apartment repairs.
• Comfortable completing work orders and apartment unit turns.
• Physically able to walk the property and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete general maintenance work orders.
• Assist with unit turns and preparing vacant apartments for new residents.
• Perform general cleaning of buildings, common areas, and vacant units.
• Perform grounds cleanup, including picking up trash and debris.
• Trim bushes and perform basic landscaping.
• Pull weeds and maintain landscaped areas.
• Assist with seasonal property cleanup.
• Perform snow and ice removal as needed.
• Assist with general maintenance repairs and property projects.
• Assist with on-call maintenance coverage when needed.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and attractive apartment community.

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Maintenance Technician to assist with the day-to-day upkeep of an apartment community. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, reliable, and takes pride in keeping a property clean and well maintained.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

• Complete general maintenance work orders

• General knowledge of basic building and apartment repairs
• Must be comfortable completing work orders and assisting with apartment unit turns
• Must be physically able to walk the property and grounds regularly
• Must be able to operate a snow blower and use a snow shovel for snow and ice removal
• Ability to bend, lift, carry, climb, and perform physical maintenance duties
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Reliable transportation required
