Job summary

Marsden Services is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance duties and basic repairs. You will handle preventative maintenance, respond to work orders, and assist in keeping units in good condition. Strong communication with residents and team is essential.

The role emphasizes safety, timely scheduling, and on-call availability. Candidates should be able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, and work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Intermediate computer skills include the ability to send & receive emails, enter hours worked on an internet-based system, and access/perform data entry in Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and completes maintenance tasks within 48 hours of work orders.
• Performs basic repairs on HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, fixtures and windows as needed.
• Assists in prioritizing work orders and monitoring equipment maintenance.
• Prepares vacant units as assigned.
• Provides on-call emergency maintenance as scheduled.
