Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) seeks a Maintenance Worker for a part-time position with benefits at Oak Harbor, WA. You will perform maintenance and housekeeping across facilities, addressing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC tasks to keep guest rooms and public spaces in good condition.

Two years of maintenance experience in multiple trades are preferred. Must lift up to 50 pounds, be available for overtime, and complete safety training.

Qualifications

• Three years of maintenance work with painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical repairs.
• Knowledge of safety rules and equipment used in maintenance.
• Ability to follow blueprints, manuals and maintenance specifications.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unaided and work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing repairs on sinks, faucets, commodes and related fixtures.
• Maintain washers/dryers, HVAC units and electrical systems as described.
• Conduct basic carpentry, painting and drywall repairs as needed.
• Complete assignments with daily inspections and safety compliance.
