Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Company is seeking a part-time Maintenance Mechanic to work on Saturdays during the day shift at a competitive rate of $42.94 per hour. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, perform routine troubleshooting, and handle computerized preventative maintenance programs.

Responsibilities include diagnosing machine malfunctions and maintaining equipment. Candidates must possess their own hand tools and the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints.

Milk-Bone is recruiting for a part-time Maintenance Mechanic for day shift on Saturdays at $42.94/hr.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Candidate must have 5+ years of direct industrial equipment maintenance in a production environment.
• Candidate must be available to work every Saturday, as scheduled.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics and parts specifications.

Responsibilities

• Ideal candidate will have ability to diagnose and repair machine malfunctions, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, manufacturing systems and controls.
• Knowledge of baking and high speed packing equipment a plus.
• Perform all duties related to computerized preventative maintenance programs.
• Will frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Education

• HS/GED required.
