Job summary

Sonata Lake Mary is seeking a Maintenance Associate (Environmental Services Associate Maintenance) for part‑time, hourly work in Lake Mary, FL. This role supports general maintenance tasks, HVAC awareness, and daily upkeep to ensure resident comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma.
• Knowledge of maintenance and housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Understanding of biohazardous waste handling.
• Valid Driver’s License, preferably a Commercial Driver’s License.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions.
• Basic familiarity with computers.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Helps to perform general maintenance work (light, electrical, painting, carpentry, etc.).
• Demonstrates excellent mechanical skills.
• Understands HVAC and may operate/maintain equipment.
• Replenishes and maintains supply levels in work areas.
• Ensures tools and areas are clean and properly stored.
• Maintains preventative maintenance schedule and log.
• Reports hazardous conditions to Environmental Services Director.
• Performs other duties as required.
