Job summary

Associa is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician / Custodial Worker for a large homeowners association in Kure Beach, NC 28449. The role blends hands-on maintenance with custodial tasks to keep shared spaces clean, safe and welcoming for residents and guests.

Responsibilities include inspecting daily, performing light maintenance, assisting with plumbing/electrical tasks, and maintaining common areas and fixtures. Requires good safety practices and dependable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Experience in maintenance or custodial work preferred.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment, hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and common areas daily for safety, maintenance, repair and cleanliness concerns.
• Perform routine light maintenance: replace bulbs, change air filters, minor painting, drywall patching, pressure washing, door/fixture repairs.
• Assist with minor plumbing and electrical tasks (unclogging drains, faucet parts, breakers, switches/outlets).
• Complete preventative maintenance and seasonal upkeep for buildings and assets.
• Clean and maintain common areas: restrooms, clubhouse, meeting rooms, kitchen, fitness areas, outdoor facilities.
