CAMS (Community Association Management Services) seeks a part-time Maintenance Technician / Custodial Worker for a community in Kure Beach, NC 28449. The role blends hands-on upkeep with daily cleaning to keep common areas welcoming for residents and guests.

The position offers 28 hours per week with a 4:30 a.m. Monday start for garbage collection, 8:00 a.m. starts for other shifts, and two schedule options. On-call every other week is compensated.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
• Experience in maintenance, custodial, or building operations preferred.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment, hand tools and power tools safely.

Responsabilités

• Inspect buildings and common areas daily for safety and cleanliness.
• Perform routine light maintenance: bulbs, air filters, painting, drywall patching, basic repairs.
• Assist with minor plumbing and electrical tasks as appropriate.
• Complete preventative maintenance and seasonal upkeep.
• Clean and restock restrooms, clubhouse, meeting rooms, kitchen, gym, and outdoor facilities.
• Report issues to management and coordinate with vendors.
• Set up community rooms for events.
• Follow safety procedures when using tools and chemicals.
• Provide courteous service to residents and guests.
