Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant at North Woods Village to support the Maintenance Supervisor in keeping the community safe, attractive, and well-maintained for residents and staff.

This role emphasizes teamwork, caring values, and basic maintenance tasks; knowledge of electrical/heating/cooling is a plus; a high school diploma or GED is required, and prior maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assists Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds.
• Help ensure a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for residents, staff and the public.
• Contribute to daily maintenance tasks and team operations.
