Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for a residential substance use program. The LVN provides detox support, medication administration, and MAT education under supervision, with a patient-centered approach and on-site duties.

The position requires an LVN license in California, CPR certification, ASAM I/II, and at least one year of LVN experience. This is a part-time rotating shift role in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• One year of LVN experience in a relevant setting.
• Current and valid California LVN license.
• CPR certification required; ASAM I and ASAM II completion required for EHR access.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services including withdrawal monitoring, MAT management, vitals, and coordination with medical providers.
• Design and implement a health services plan for each client.
• Document medication lists with prescriber, meds, dosages and schedule.
• Participate in weekly care reviews to ensure quality of care.
• Maintain and update electronic health records and supporting documentation.
