Responsibilities

Greets and relates to all students, teachers, visitors, parents, school administrators, school board employees, and all others in a polite and professional manner.
Promotes a positive lunchroom environment for students, staff and guests.
Interacts with students appropriate to their developmental level, fair, consistent and professional at all times.
Assists with neat and orderly cafeteria tasks like wiping tables, picking up trays and silverware, and cleaning spills.
Maintains order and acceptable noise levels in cafeteria and serving lines as directed by the principal or designee.
Assists students with needs such as opening milk cartons and thermos bottles.
Reports all student injuries, accidents, illnesses, and discipline problems immediately.
