Job summary

Human Learning Systems LLC seeks a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse for the Gerald R Ford Job Corps Center in Grand Rapids, MI. The LPN will assist the Health & Wellness Supervisor in planning, implementing and evaluating a wellness program aligned with Job Corps goals.

The role includes care, triage, input on case management, orientation to Health Services, and medication/inventory management in a compliant environment. CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Qualifications

• LPN license in the state and CPR/First Aid certifications are required.
• Associates degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and supports the Wellness Program with care, assessment, triage and treatment.
• Provides input to management for case management of student health issues.
• Coordinates orientation to Health Services for students.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures OSHA compliance and safety.
• Manages medication inventory and daily ordering to ensure safety of medications and vaccines.
• Ensures health records comply with DOL and Center requirements.
