Job summary

Human Learning Systems in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to support Health & Wellness at the Gerald R Ford Job Corps Center. The LPN will assist the Health & Wellness Supervisor in delivering a comprehensive wellness program for students and staff.

Responsibilities include providing care, triage, treatment, medication management, records, infection control, and coordination of health services, with emphasis on safety, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the Wellness Program and provides care, assessment, triage, and treatment.
• Coordinates and promotes activities that support health and safety throughout the Center.
• Ensures delivery of quality services and assists students in developing employability skills.
• Maintains accurate records for ordering, storage, administration, and disposal of medication/vaccines.
• Provides for on-call services to handle emergency care.
• Implements infection control measures in Health Services and monitors Center-wide infection control.

Education

LPN license in State

Associates degree preferred
