Job summary

Allied-Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the RN Supervisor in the Transitional Care Unit. The LPN must serve adolescent through geriatric patients, applying age-specific knowledge and skills in line with nursing policies.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited LPN program and PA licensure. At least 2 years in long-term care is preferred, with flexibility for part-time shifts as posted.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program required.
• A pharmacology course of at least forty-five hours must be included in the basic education curriculum or have been attended post graduation.

Responsibilities

• Administers direct nursing care to patients under RN supervision.
• Provides care appropriate to patients from adolescent to geriatric age groups.
• Adheres to Nursing Department policies and procedures and maintains standards of nursing care.
