Job summary

Allied Services in Scranton, PA seeks a Graduate Practical Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse to administer prescribed treatments, coordinate nursing care, and monitor standards on the assigned unit.

Under supervision of the Director of Nursing or shift supervisor, you will participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for adults to geriatrics, with emphasis on teamwork and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current LPN license in Pennsylvania or eligibility.
• CPR certification required or must be maintained.
• Clear criminal history/background check as required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed treatment to residents.
• Coordinate nursing care and monitor standards of care on assigned unit.
• Participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Under supervision of the Director of Nursing or shift supervisor; collaborates with Nurse Aides.
