Job summary

Allied Services in Scranton, PA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to administer direct nursing care under the supervision of the RN Supervisor of the Transitional Care Unit. The LPN must provide age-appropriate care for adolescents through geriatrics and follow Nursing Department policies.

Graduate of an accredited LPN program with a 45-hour pharmacology course is required. At least 2 years in long-term care is preferred, and current PA LPN license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program required.
• A pharmacology course of at least forty-five hours must be included in the basic education curriculum or have been attended post graduation.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a long term care setting preferred.
• Possession of a current license as a Practical Nurse issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners required.
