Job summary

Allied Services in Scranton, PA seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to administer direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The LPN must provide age-appropriate care from adolescent through geriatric, assess patient data, and follow Nursing Department policies.

Candidates must complete an accredited LPN program, include a 45-hour pharmacology course, have at least two years med-surg or rehab experience, and hold PA licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program required.
• A pharmacology course of at least forty-five hours must be included in the basic education curriculum or have been attended post graduation.
• Minimum of two (2) years med-surg or rehabilitation experience required.
• Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania required (special employment requirement).
• CPR certification must be obtained and maintained (special employment requirement).

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of indirect patient care duties.
• Care for patients across age groups from adolescent to geriatric.
