Job summary

Salemtowne in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to administer nursing care in a skilled nursing setting underRN supervision, following physician orders, and performing wound care, medication administration, and resident education.

You will support residents with ADL tasks, communicate with physicians, document care accurately, and participate in quality/safety programs while supervising nursing staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with NC Board of Nursing.
• CPR certified or the ability to become CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident nursing care and supervise staff within their neighborhood or unit.
• Act as supervisor in a modified primary care setting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and report lab/medical results to physicians.
