Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Community Crisis Stabilization team. You will provide specialized nursing care to adults in a 24-hour crisis stabilization program, offering a medically necessary, voluntary alternative to inpatient hospitalization.

The CCS unit features a renovated 10-bed setting with stays typically ranging from 3 to 5 days, and part-time weekend coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and MA LPN license.
• Massachusetts LPN license required.
• Experience in acute mental health settings preferred.
• Ability to work independently and provide compassionate care.
• Part-time availability for weekends and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document clients' self-administration of medications and ensure safe medication practices.
• Monitor clients' physical health needs and coordinate acute medical care with direct care staff as needed.
• Facilitate health and wellness groups and activities that promote recovery and well-being.
• Deliver strength-based, solution-focused nursing interventions and assist clients with WRAP and safety plans.
• Complete assigned clinical documentation and participate in required training to support high-quality care.
