Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a part-time clinic role across three VA sites: Arlington, Alexandria, and Reston. The position requires hands-on skills in vaccines, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing, with EMR documentation (Epic preferred).

Shifts are 20-30 hours per week, typically 7–10 hour blocks, with every-other weekend and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or LVN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required and must be current.
• 1+ year experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER preferred.
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccines/immunizations, and point-of-care testing.
• Proficient EMR documentation; Epic EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, vital signs, and routine assessments.
• Administer medications (oral, injectable) within scope and clinic guidelines.
• Provide immunizations and phlebotomy, plus point‑of‑care testing.
• Document medical history, allergies, medications, and treatment in EMR/EHR.
• Support patient education, self‑care and care coordination resources.
• Maintain a clean, organized, well‑stocked clinical environment; follow safety protocols.
• Communicate professionally with patients and clinical team in a fast‑paced workflow.
