Legend Senior Living® in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time position to join our nursing team. You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff.

You will help ensure residents receive excellent direct care, participate in resident assessments and service planning, and coordinate with health care services as needed. Supervisory experience and CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN nursing license required
• CPR certification as required by state
• Prior relevant experience preferred (1 year)
• Supervisory experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Supervising and training nursing staff to ensure quality of care
• Verifying proper distribution and documentation of medications, treatments, and orders
• Participating in resident assessments and service planning; coordinating with ancillary health care services
• Assisting with move-in and move-out processes including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications
• Providing direct care during health emergencies or on-call rotations
• Communicating resident concerns to the appropriate department manager
• Ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
