Southern Health Partners is launching a new correctional healthcare program in Cook County, Georgia, and we're looking for a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team.

This is a part-time weekend position based in Adel, GA with a predictable every-other-weekend schedule. You’ll provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and collaborate with a healthcare team in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Georgia LPN license.
• Strong clinical and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Dependability and sound clinical judgment.
• Commitment to providing quality, patient-focused care.
• Correctional healthcare experience is welcome, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Complete patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Respond to urgent and emergent healthcare needs.
• Communicate with medical providers and the healthcare team regarding patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Promote continuity of care throughout the facility.
• Follow established clinical policies, procedures, and standards.
• Provide professional and compassionate care in a safe and secure environment.
