Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time shifts in Bradenton, Florida. You will support resident care, medication management, and service planning under the nursing team.

You will supervise nursing staff, participate in resident assessments, and assist with move-in/move-out processes. A current LPN license and CPR certification are required; supervisory experience is a plus in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state.
• Prefer at least 1 year of prior relevant experience.
• Prefer supervisory experience, preferably in senior living.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care
• Verifying proper distribution and documentation of medications and orders
• Participating in resident assessments and service planning, and coordinating with other health care services
• Assisting with move-in/move-out processes including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications
• Providing direct care during health emergencies or on-call rotations
• Relaying resident concerns to the appropriate department manager
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
