Job summary

Pioneer Health Care Management in Northville, MI is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a part-time role in our long-term care facility. The LPN will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and collaborate with the health care team to meet residents' needs.

The successful candidate will hold an active Michigan LPN license, have BLS certification, and demonstrated ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff. Prior LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN program.
• Must hold a current LPN License in Michigan in good standing.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience in long-term care preferred.
• Requires current BLS certification.
• Must read/write/understand English.
• Strong interpersonal skills for resident/family interaction.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents per individualized care plans.
• Supervise nurses' aides and assistants as part of the care team.
• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed and document.Observe patients and report changes to the health care team.
• Maintain resident comfort, dignity and rights; promote a homelike environment.
